VIX and sentiment musings

The bloggers say Santa is on his way as they remain bullish through the end of the year.

While not wildly overbought, sentiment looks a little too positive for me to feel greatly positive on the market's next move:



My impression is that VIX is poised to move farther up (okay, it's just my impression then?!):
