Yes, the undercurrent of bias did skew both charts as to the way they traced out the cycles during the week, as the week unfolded. But the correspondence of the actual to the predicted market movements remains startling. First, let's look at what the SPX and NDX actually did this past week, Then, we'll look at what was predicted - and you can judge for yourself.
Here are the charts of what happened this week in the SPX and NDX:
Next, I've copied below in the exact post I placed here on Saturday, January 31, with the ChartsEdge weekly cycle chart for the week starting this past Monday, February 2:

Here are the cycle-based forecast charts from ChartsEdge, for the S&P500 and the Nasdaq, covering the week starting February 2 (their longer-term cycle charts by subscription, see link in sites listed at the right side of this page):

Granted, even with the forecast map, this week was very challenging (maybe impossible) for swing trades (actually, just knowing that going into the week was very valuable information). But for active trading and day trading, what a bonanza! In fact .... I cannot resist - here's a comparison of the ChartsEdge daily map posted here yesterday morning before the open, to the actual SPX chart of yesterday:
So when you went into the trading day yesterday morning, you weren't surprised at all by the huge rally, if you had checked the ChartsEdge Market Map for the day!
If you also subscribe to ChartsEdge's services that include the weekly updates of cycles for the weeks and months ahead, you might have seen other clues toward the end of the week (check the ChartsEdge site in the "other sites" listed at right side of this page for subscription information, very reasonable).
Now - I'll be the first to acknowledge, it would not be smart to use the cycle charts to "set it and forget it" with your investment or trading - you still need to keep an eye on what's happening in the markets, use proper trade and money management, and by all means use your Elliott Wave, sentiment and technical indicators as we do here. Still ... I just want to say, thanks ChartsEdge for another amazing week of cycle chart forecasting!
