You've probably heard of the "hemline indicator", and I've actually read more than one study that researched and found it to have some validity. Women's hemlines drop, then the equities markets drop; later hemlines rise, and the markets follow suit (in a manner of speaking). Socionomists (like those at Robert Prechter's Socionomics Institute) have even augmented that type of analysis, finding correlations with other fashion and social trends. So imagine my surprise tonight when I saw a news piece about fashion shows now featuring "Snuggies"! Of course, the very phrase "Snuggies fashion" really is oxymoronic. In any event - This can only portend a
really serious market decline ahead!

Alien sequel .... Actually, maybe it's just a matter of getting ready on a mass subconscious level for the upcoming Kondratiev winter. Hmmm, wonder if there's a style with inset pockets for gold coins?!
